We offer parking for bikes and one car, but there is plenty of parking available in the immediate area. Just a quick 5-minute scooter ride away, you’ll find a variety of amazing vegan and non-vegan restaurants that Ahangama has to offer.
The Studio is perfect for a working professional, expat, tourist, student, or couple. It is available for immediate occupancy for both long and short-term tenants. We love nothing better than to entertain and look after our guests should they be close friends and family or individual booking guests. We want everyone to have a wonderful experience at either the beach, town of Ahangama or Wave Surfing and we try to tailor stays to make it as enjoyable and as memorable as possible. . Ahangama is one of Sri Lanka’s up-and-coming hipster surf towns with many surf camps popping up among this dreamy coastline.
Whilst most people do come here to surf, there is so much more to Ahangama than the “gnarly waves”. Whether you want to unwind with some yoga, see the famous stilt fishermen of Sri Lanka, or simply try out all of the incredible restaurants. There are so many wonderful things to do in Ahangama (and its surrounding towns).

Our housekeeping Boy Praboda, also known as a room attendant, is in charge of cleaning your Studio Apartment Accommodation or Villa. He is responsible for restocking amenities, changing bed linens, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a cozy atmosphere for our guests to enjoy.

Our time at the Sunsan Studio was absolutely perfect! This luxurious visit was a bit overwhelming at first but we really enjoyed it once we got used to it. Simon was also super helpful in renting a scooter and getting our laundry done. Definitely the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka.

The Sunsan Studio is so elegant and well designed. The photos really don't do it justice. We stayed here for a week, and absolutely loved our stay! Simon and Alistair are so welcoming and friendly, they gave us lots of recommendations for the area and we loved meeting them. The studio is peaceful, we rented a scooter and the drive to and from the coast through the paddy fields was a highlight of our 3-week long trip. It felt lovely to be in the calm of the lush inland scenery, with peacocks calling and kingfishers sitting on the telephone wires. The studio was spotless, serviced daily, thoughtfully and tastefully furnished, and incredible value. Couldn't recommend it more!
